Newham Phase 3b and 5a



The complete new rewire of lateral mains and landlord services works to over 30 low rise residential blocks throughout the borough of Newham. Works also included the complete replacement of existing block lighting systems with LED Commulite Emergency Lighting Systems. The installation of new Door Entry systems to 11 blocks throughout the borough including all new door access equipment. Key to the successful delivery of these projects was implementing a flexible appointment system that adapted to the needs of the residents.

Scope Of Work

bullet Stripping out and removal of all redundant cables, conduit installations, trunkings, tenants’ lateral mains and switchgear
bullet Complete new tenants lateral mains, including associated switchgear
bullet Complete replacement of Landlord’s Emergency Lighting with LED Commulite System
bullet General purpose power together with retention and reconnection of existing door entry and digital television systems
bullet Working in close liaison with EDF Energy(Electricity Authority) and changing of existing old service heads (UK Power Networks)
bullet Provision of Electrical Installation Condition Reports on individual tenants dwellings
bullet Works are within programme and budget
bullet Installation of new Door Entry systems complete with door access panel readers, fobs etc. to 11 blocks throughout the borough.
